You are guaranteed that the Government is Prohibited from unreasonable searches and seizures and sets out requirements for search warrants based on probable cause by the Fourth Amendment to the Constitution of the United States!
Miranda Rights were created in 1966 as a result of the United States Supreme Court case of Miranda v. Arizona. The Miranda warning is intended to protect the suspect’s Fifth Amendment right to refuse to answer self-incriminating questions.
It is important to note that Miranda rights do not go into effect until after an arrest is made. The officer is free to ask questions before an arrest, but must inform the suspect that the questioning is voluntary and that he or she is free to leave at any time. The answers to these questions are admissible in court.

Anaheim, CA The community is protesting police aggression and the shooting death of a young man. So, what happens? Police shoot into a crowd with many children then let loose a police dog. It’s so wrong.
Yes, protest peacefully, absolutely. But, leave the little ones at home with a responsible babysitter. I don’t think I’d show up to protest the police with my children or baby. The adults were freaked out. I imagine the kids were terrified.

You think you’re tough being up on the front line when police start swinging batons to keep the anarchists from breaking through, and then out of the fray comes a little old lady and you wonder what she was like at your age.
I like how she owns both a sun hat and those goggles.

SWAT team, bomb squad and Predator drone all enlisted to find stolen North Dakota cows
You’re gonna to love this, people of the Tumblr world. Some cows went missing in North Dakota, right? Six in all. Here is what local authorities decided was necessary to search for said bovine:
- A SWAT team
- A bomb squad
- The highway patrol
- Deputies from three surrounding counties
- A Predator drone
Yes, a Predator drone. The LA Times is calling it “the first known arrests of U.S. citizens with help from a Predator.” But by no means is it the first time a drone, generally, has been used by local police in U.S. airspace, and it wasn’t the first time a Predator had been used in North Dakota. From the Times:
Local police say they have used unarmed Predators based at Grand Forks Air Force Base to fly at least two-dozen surveillance flights since June. … ‘We don’t use [drones] on every call out,” said Bill Macki, head of the police SWAT team in Grand Forks. ‘If we have something in town like an apartment complex, we don’t call them.’

It’s all meant to urge every driver to call authorities if they see something suspicious. “Somebody sees something somewhere and we want them to be responsible citizens, report that and let us work it through our processes to abet the concern that they had when they saw something suspicious,” said Paul Armes, TSA Federal Security Director for Nashville International Airport.
Didn’t the state troopers and local police already work together at road checks for truckers? Citizens already know to report suspicious activity on roads thanks to 9/11, drunk driving campaigns and Amber alerts.
